ProfiliX is an automatic visual inspection machine for in-line surface inspection of extrusion profiles and pipes of various sizes, up to 40mm x 40mm field of view. ProfiliX is able to check the entire surface of a part through non-contact optical inspection, combined with precision part positioning tools to optimally present the part to each camera.
The acquired images are transferred to a PC without any data loss. The machine is controlled by a Real-Time operating system which handles both image processing and the interaction with the operator through a user-friendly interface. The system's stability is guaranteed even at extremely high inspection speeds, delivering accurate and repeatable readings.
The images are caputured by industrial digital cameras and transferred to PC without loss or interference.
After the acquisition of the images and subsequent processing, the machine reports the presence of defects through:
You can view in real time all the statistics such as production time, the number and types of detected defects and so on; it is also possible to save the production reports with graphs and statistical data and to integrate them into the management system for subsequent processing.
It takes only a very short time to change the product to inspect thanks to:
MULTIPLE-STAGE LED ILLUMINATION
DIMENSIONAL SENSOR
A dimensional sensor can be integrated into the system for a complete in-line inspection.
DEVICE FOR COMPLETE SURFACE INSPECTION
This system consists of 4 color cameras and two levels of color LED illumination arranged in order to cover the entire surface of the extruded profile for complete inspection.
The software allows you to regulate the different LED crowns to optimize the illumination of the profile; thus several inspection zones can be defined independently.
